This month's featured product is the Ultimate Hunter Swim'n Duck remote controlled (RC) duck decoy. The Swim'n Duck is a great decoy, because, unlike some other RC decoys, it accurately simmulates the natural motions of a duck swimming on the water. This decoy's motion will attract the attention of ducks flying by, and bring them closer in, so that you can take your shot! Another feature of Swim'n Duck is that you can tie a regular decoy to the rear, and the Swim'n Duck will tow that decoy behind it, thus providing you with TWO ducks swimming naturally in a pair. The Swim'n Duck will be an asset to any duck hunt, especially on windless days!

Product Review by Derek, Drake Waterfowl Systems Field Expert
Drake Waterfowl Systems has developed their first waders strictly designed for the hardcore waterfowl hunter. The waders will be available at retail and online outlets in August of 2008. As a member of Drake's field staff, I was given the opportunity "pre-order" a pair for my evaluation and use. The waders come in two styles MST (Mid Season Technology) and LST (Late Season Technology). The basic difference between the two is the thickness of the neoprene base used and insulation in the boots. I went with the MST option.
My pair of waders arrived on June 9th and like a kid on Christmas morning, I tore into the box. The packaging of the product is awesome, but that is quickly forgotten as you lift the waders out of the box. I've owned several pairs of waders over the years, but these were like nothing I'd ever had. Many of the features are shown in the pictures I've attached, but I'll highlight a few.
Boots. Adjustable above the ankles for a firm fit. That helps the reduce the tendency for foot to pull out of the boot when lifting your foot while walking on a soft bottom. Very nice!
Reinforced knees/butt areas. No more tears and snags as you are wading through nasty stuff. The patented HD2 material is BULLET PROOF, yet flexible to allow good movement.
POCKETS! The chest pocket system is the most well thought out system I've ever seen. A fleece hand warmer pocket inside the waders rather than outside, that stays dry and warm, not wet, cold, and nasty like others. A magnetically closing, self draining pocket for things that you need quick access too. Two pockets with waterproof zippers to keep things like cell phones dry. One larger magnetic closure pocket. POCKETS POCKETS POCKETS!
Straps that do not interfere with shouldering your gun. I'm not sure how many times I've cussed out shoulder buckles that get in the way of shouldering a gun, but it has been too frequent. Drake's straps have no bulky buckles!
There are more features, but those I listed are my favorites. Now that have the waders in hand, I am itching for waterfowl seasons more than ever so that I can plunge feet first into my favorite little duck swamp.
Waterfowl hunters are that special breed of hunter who labors through tough conditions to bag his quarry, and at last, Mad Dog gear made at least ONE aspect of hunting less of a chore. Using the waterproof front zipper, male hunters can take care of business with less hassle than before. Whether it was the idea of someone from Ducks Unlimited or someone from Mad Dog gear, we applaud the designer of the Relief Wader!
